So, you are going to Walt Disney World! Well, if you have never been or not been in a while, there is a lot happening in and around the parks!
Walt Disney World Resort consist of 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 17 resort hotels, over 130 restaurants, Disney Springs shopping district, golf courses, miniature golf course, a movie theater, and their own transportation system.
The resorts are basically grouped into three categories. Value resorts are the least expensive and have no on-site table service restaurants. Moderate resorts have larger rooms, on-site table service dining, and options for villas. Deluxe resorts have the largest rooms on property, many dining options on-site, elaborate themed rooms and resorts, and include options for multiple room villas and Disney Vacation Club properties.
All resorts are located near one or multiple parks, although travel between resorts and some parks can be more than 20 minutes using Disney transportation.
